Drs. Mark & Chris Stevens

For over 23 years Dr. Mark and Dr. Chris have been practicing here in South Florida.

They both graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. They moved to South Florida after graduation, were married, and have been practicing in Broward county ever since. Dr. Mark has always had a passion for surgery and has exceptional surgical skills. Dr Chris has extensive internal medical knowledge and also enjoys dermatology and ophthalmology. They had alway dreamed of opening a practice together one day. That dream came true on February 1st, 2016 when they opened their doors in the beautiful city of Lighthouse Point, Florida.

Always striving to ensure that their clients and their animals get the best possible care.

Dr.s Mark and Chris compliment each other and work very well together in this family practice. They have two wonderful children, Kyle & Danielle, 3 dogs (Lucy, Maverick, and Simone), and 2 cats(Bella and Toby).

Monica Klaver : Practice Manager

Monica has been in the veterinary field for over 30 years.

Monica has a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, did her internship at Oklahoma City Zoo and has been in the veterinary field for over 30 years.

She volunteers at her church, as well as has a love of gardening. She shares her home with her husband, 2 Maine Coon mixed cats, Grayson and Jaxson as well as numerous fish tanks (aka- kitty TV).





Lyn Randolph : Client Service Representative

Since childhood, animals have always held a sweet spot in her heart.

Lyn is a Miami native who began her career as a veterinary customer service representative a year ago. Prior to that, she was the general manager of a popular frozen yogurt chain.

Since childhood, animals have always held a sweet spot in her heart. Her current family of pets includes two cats “Kitty” a black and white domestic short hair whom she rescued, and her new addition “Boo-Boo Kitty” a chartreuse domestic short hair. When she’s not working the front desk you can find her at home relaxing with her son or snuggled up on the sofa watching House, MD.





Linda Rabin : Client Service Representative

Linda really loves getting to know her clients and their furry family members.

Linda is a south Florida native and has always loved animals. She has volunteered at the humane society of Broward county for 10 years as well as caring for her daughters dog “Beckham” and a feral cat named “Mama” who has adopted her! She has worked as a customer service representative for the past 5 years and joined Stevens Animal Hospital in october 2017. She really loves getting to know her clients and their furry family members. Her background includes various accounting management positions and she graduated with a BSBA in marketing from the university of Florida. Go Gators!

In her spare time, she enjoys boating, cooking and anything outdoors!




Emma Bleiberg : Client Service Representative

Emma's family has always been very active with animal rescues - she started her journey, at 11 years old.

Emma was born and raised in Washington D.C. and moved to south Florida 4 years ago. Her family has always been very active with animal rescues - she started her journey, at 11 years old, through volunteering with the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue and was mentored by her late dog’s foster-mom in training and handling. She started out here as a client and quickly became an employee for her love of the doctors and staff!

Emma now resides in Oakland Park with her 3 rescues – Duke a german shepherd, Leah a savannah cat, and Louie a savannah cat.




Tori Logan : Client Service Representative

Tori has always had a sensitivity and compassion for animals.

Tori was born in Ohio and shortly after moved to Las Vegas for 16 years. She recently moved to Florida for a Christian outreach ministry. She has always had a sensitivity and compassion for animals thus leading her to different positions in the veterinary field for over 6 years.

Being in ministry has taught Tori how to relate to others through their pets by the comfort and unfailing love they express to us. One of Tori’s goals is to become involved as a youth leader in a local ministry.




Morgan DeMartini : Client Service Representative

As a true South Florida native, Morgan enjoys much of her time at the beach in the warm sun.

As a true South Florida native, Morgan enjoys much of her time at the beach in the warm sun. Morgan attended Florida Atlantic University and studied Communications and Marketing. Her love of animals and communicating with people led her to the Steven's Animal Hospital team as a CSR and now gets the best of both worlds!

In her spare time she loves to practice with her Real Estate License and especially loves spending time with her loved ones which includes her three rescue dogs Journey, Kylie and Mora!



Veronica Seiler : Veterinary Technician

Veronica knew she had a passion for the veterinary field at fifteen years old.

Veronica grew up around many different kinds of animals in various parts of the United States. She grew breeding and showing Great Danes. She also owned and showed horses and competed barrel racing and English Hunter Jumper. She knew she had a passion for the veterinary field at fifteen years old after delivering her Mom’s Great Dane puppies after complications arose. She graduated with a certificate as a Veterinary Technician in 2001 from Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, Arizona. Her favorite aspect of the field is surgery and anesthesia. She also loves internal medicine and educating clients.

She has a wonderful husband, and they have a toy poodle named “Annabelle”, a greyhound named “Vixen”, a cockapoo named “Maggie”, a chihuahua mix named “Pancho”, a morkie named “Chancho” , an african grey parrot named “ Rika, and two cats “Hobbs” and “Magick”. She has a previous history working with Dr. Mark and Dr. Chris for five years.

Richard Meyer : Veterinary Technician

Richard grew up owning and being exposed to many different species of animals.

Richard was born and raised in South Florida. He has owned and lovingly raised many different species of animals throughout his childhood, from fish and turtles to guinea pigs and dogs. He currently has 2 Great Danes, Jacques and Nala, saltwater fish and poison dart frogs. Richard takes a particular interest in the beautiful beaches of Florida and all the wildlife it has to offer. He has an extensive background in animal care. He volunteers at the South Florida Wildlife Center helping nurture and rehabilitate native wildlife in need until they can be released to a second chance at life. He volunteers and assists with endangered sea turtle research at Gumbo Limbo in Boca Raton. Richard has also completed 2 amazing internships at the Natuwa santuario de lapas in Costa Rica, assisting and learning about wildlife such as jaguars, ocelots, tapirs, kinkajous and many different species of macaws, monkeys and toucans.

His love for animals brought him to start, Gentle Giants Great Dane Rescue with two friends in 2016, a local Great Dane rescue in Broward county. The Danes have inspired and pushed Richard to pursue his career in veterinary medicine so he can help other Danes in need! Having just graduated from FAU with a bachelors degree in biological sciences May 2018, he is currently applying to Veterinary school!

Maggie Brawley : Veterinary Technician

Maggie is currently seeking her doctorate degree in pharmacy.

Maggie is from Minnesota. She received her associates degree in Veterinarian Technology while living there in 2008. She has her bachelors degree from Florida State University where she majored in Biology. She is currently seeking her doctorate degree in pharmacy.

When Maggie isn't at work or school she is loving on her three dogs Loki, Layla and Kilo or her little bird Malcom!"




Corell Brown : Veterinary Technician

Corell has been in the veterinary field since january 2000.

Family man, veterinary technician and musician, St. Louis native Corell has been in the veterinary field since January 2000. In this time he’s had the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best veterinarians in South Florida. When not wearing his technician hat, Corell teaches vocal, drums and bass guitar lessons at a well known music school in Weston. With his beautiful wife by his side, Corell also manages to play his biggest role in raising their two beautiful children.

With a great smile and positive attitude , Corell has often said, “the only two things in life that truly interests me are animal and music, and I am blessed to make my living doing both.”




Gina Perusi : Veterinary Technician

Gina has always had a love for animals and as a child she would rescue every stray.

Gina was born and raised in south Florida and has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. She has always had a love for animals and as a child she would rescue every stray and help as many critters as she could. Gina started her career at a local animal hospital in their kennel. Over the years she was trained by the best and gained knowledge in critical care, anesthesia, and oncology and this knowledge makes her the tech she is today. Her strengths are surgery, critical care and ensuring clients have peace of mind.

Gina does not have any pets of her own because she spends most of her time caring for other’s pets at her home and here at Stevens Animal Hospital.






Kaitlyn Sheehan : Kennel Technician

Kaitlyn got involved in rescue when she was 16, has fostered countless dogs.

Kaitlyn is a 20 year old Florida native who has the utmost passion for animals. She got involved in rescue when she was 16, has fostered countless dogs and shares her home with 2 dogs, a Yorkie named Elvis and a Shih Tzu named Daisy. Her constant exposure to sick animals led her down the road of wanting to be a veterinarian. She is currently in school at FAU and is working hard towards her degree in biological sciences.

When Kaitlyn is not bathing, walking or caring for the pets at work, you can find her working out or going to the movies.




Katie Buck : Kennel Technician

Katie knew at a young age that she was going to do something with animals.

Katie moved to Florida in June of 1978 and attended Boca Raton High School. She knew at a young age that she was going to do something with animals. She graduated from Palm Beach Junior College with a degree in Animal Care and started working as a kennel technician along with being a groomers assistant. Her passion for animals brought her to Stevens Animal Hospital’s team as a kennel technician.

She has a grandson, 3 pugs and a chinchilla that keep her busy.




Teresa Martinez : Kennel Technician

Teresa has a big heart and cares for all animals big and small.

Teresa was born and raised in south Florida. She has a big heart and cares for all animals big and small. After reaching out to her community, she was given the opportunity to complete an internship at Zoo Miami where she discovered her love for working with birds. She is finishing her undergraduate degree in biology at FAU








Marlene Monteiro : Pet Groomer

She and her 4 sisters grew up with dogs and farm animals and she knew at an early age she was meant to be with them.

Marlene is originally from Brazil. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce but knew after 11 years it was not right for her. She and her 4 sisters grew up with dogs and farm animals and she knew at an early age she was meant to be with them. She moved to the USA to pursue her animal passion of pet grooming. She graduated Merryfield School of Pet Grooming and has been fulfilling her dream ever since. She rescued the love of her life, Troy an 8 year old Rat Terrier, two years ago. Their dream is to have a big house where she can open a pet sitting business for both dogs and cats where she will also continue her grooming. Marlene attends continuing education seminars regularly so she can always be up to date on cutting edge pet styling.

Dr.s Mark & Chris both have extensive internal medicine knowledge and are second to none.
